OUT OF BALANCE IN BANK RECONCILIATION

Hi all,

I have a situation with my bank rec. We did the bank rec up to August 31, 2023, bank rec balance report is same as it appears on the bank stmnt.

 

However, the AccountRight balance as at 31/8/23 is in negative over hundred thousand. I have tried to establish the huge difference, but to no avail. That same negative balance seem to appear as a negative bank balance in the Balance Sheet.

 

Anyone who had experience this help me resolve the issue.

    It seems that you're encountering a significant discrepancy in your MYOB reconciliation window. I understand that this can be a challenging issue to resolve, but here are some 

    steps you can take to identify and address the problem:

    • Review all transactions in your MYOB account.
    • Verify all the transactions in your bank statement are correct and match the transaction in MYOB.
    • Undo the reconciliation and check where the out-of-balance occurred, and then reconcile again.

      Hi Priness,

      I really can't fix the problem. I guess the out of balance might have happened due to some deleted transactions. 

       

      Please need assistance as to how that out of balance figure be dealt with.
