Problems reconciling

I am haing problems reconciling my account. We have an online business and download orders using Unicart.

The issue is I am .01c under, I do an adjustment and then I am .01c over. There is .001c somewhere stopping me from reconciling my account. ANy advice on how to correct this would be appreciated.

    Thank you for posting your concern in the forum. 

     

    I'm sorry to hear about your issue reconciling your accounts. Generally, this issue happens when you have transactions that have 3 decimal place values. May I ask for screenshots of your Reconcile Account screen and how you adjusted the $0.01?

    I will hopefully get a chance tomorrow to do the screenshots but I would just change an expense by .01c either way.

    Just need to know how to correct it so I can submit files to my accountant.

    Thank you for your response yesterday. I hope you are well today. 

     

    You mentioned you will hopefully get a chance to do screenshots today regarding the issue. I am just following up on that. We will need to know how the transaction is recorded, how the adjustment is made, and how it looks in the Reconcile Accounts window for us to come up with a workaround.

    Hi 

    Things got a bit busy and I am still having the problem.

    Below in the images you can see the balance is out by $6.11

    I tick the entry for $6.11 but I am still out by .01c

    Thanks for your response and the screenshots you've attached. 

     

    In my understanding, there is a chance that the -$6.11 transactions are likely 3 decimal places but were just rounded off. May I get you to delete and re-enter the same $6.11 transaction to see if it refreshes the values? Also, feel free to send us a screenshot of the transaction if the issue persists after re-recording it.

    Thank you for your Genreve,

     

    Unfortuanely I know this isn't the transaction eith the issue as I have tried many different months and transactions.

     

    Is there a way to find the transaction that has the extra decimal poitns?
