Setting Up Bank Feed for client

My client does not use MYOB at all.  I run Accountright for his business, and had BNZ bank feeds until the end of August.   When I tried the conversion, it never showed the process, as did my other BNZ clients.   I put it aside until now - I have reached out to MYOB re the problem over 2 weeks ago, no reply.

My question is, when I now go to set up a new bank feed, I go to the BNZ choice, then it wants my clients bank log in and password, which of course I do not have.   He lives very remotely out in a country block.  How does one resolve this issue as it says paper submissions are no longer accepted.

    Hi KatieMcL

     

    Thanks for explaining what’s happening with your client’s bank feed. BNZ has moved to an online consent process, so at the moment, the only way to set this up is for the account holder to authorise it online. I know it’s not ideal, but with BNZ changing its process, we do need to follow their setup.

    Thank you, I had wondered it might be like that.   They are not geared nearly as well as all the other banks I deal with, for sure.   Cheers.
