AccountRight Online - How are backups if any leveraged?

Hello,   When using a company file that is online, how are backups leveraged and if needed how do we revert to a backup?   when a SE of AR we can of course backup the myox files with disaster rec...

How often does MYOB backup and online file? It used to be weekly, has this changed?

Hi gavin12345,

If your AccountRight company file is online, MYOB stores your data in advanced data centers and cloud servers. These facilities automatically back up your data weekly, keeping it secured for a period of six months.     Thanks for your reply. Perhaps moderators such as Princess_R can include this important limitation to users. While a server backup can be purchased, it might be up to 6 days old, and can only go back 6 months. 

     

    Sometimes for tax purposes, users need to restore a backup from last financial year, and they might rely on MYOB to provide this. A customer would be understandably angry with MYOB if you later tell them, 'sorry we can only go back 6 months'.
