Desktop file locked, online migration missing a month of transactions
My AccountRight company file was migrated online, but the online file stops at 16 September 2026. While I was waiting for the migration, I continued working in the desktop file, so the desktop file now has transactions the online file doesn’t. The migration took a long time and I had to meet my GST obligations in the meantime, so my last three months of work had to be done offline. As a result, the two files are now out of sync. I’m now locked out of the desktop file and can’t read it. I’ve tried live chat and phone without success. Could a moderator please either arrange for my current desktop file to be migrated so the online file is complete, or restore read-only access to the desktop file so I can bring the missing transactions across myself? Update: this is now resolved, so no action is needed. I was able to read the transactions from a copy of the desktop file and enter the missing ones into the online file myself. Both bank accounts now reconcile. Thanks.
