Importing Item Purchases

Question

Hi allI have exported an Items purchase report from one MYOB file and have tried to import this report into a new MYOB file but received the following errors:Error 25 Invalid amountError 32 Item is not boughtNot one record has been imported.It seems ridiculous that an exported MYOB file can not be imported into MYOB seamlessly.I would appreciate some advice on how to fix the errors.Thanks in advance&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Hi Starman&nbsp;&nbsp;Importing and exporting can be tricky, esp when you start out. Spend some time reading the Support notes in the Support area on importing and exporting. You can certainly export and import the same data from one file to the other, provided the 'elements' are the same in both files. By 'elements' I mean things like the Supplier card, the items, the accounts etc.&nbsp;FYI you cannot import 'reports'. You can only import data that has been manually created or exported using the File&nbsp; Import Export wizard. See under File &gt; Import Export Assistant.&nbsp;RegardsGavin&nbsp;
