Delays in replies to API support requests have been mentioned several times recently.
Performance for our customers running (payables) integration apps all day every weekday has been quite good in recent times, and the same with our customers running reporting apps, which can stress the API even more. We've certainly had our share of 500/504s in the past.
We've introduced a "reducing skip value" approach along with retries, eg 1st time skip 1000, 2nd 500, 3rd 250, etc., this has helped. Large item sales and purchases are usually the worst performers. MYOB did announce a performance improvement for item purchases in the latest release (2026.8):
