Woocommece variations products are not syncing with MYOB

I’m using a WooCommerce → MYOB sync plugin (not the MYOB API).
I created a variable product with two variation SKUs:

AAA-TEST

BBB-TEST

Both SKUs are valid (letters + hyphens).
Parent product has no SKU.

The plugin option “Create Product in MYOB if Not Found” is ON.

But when I sync, I get this error:

“Product syncing process is complete, but some product SKUs were not found.”

Even after changing SKUs completely, the same error appears.

My Questions:

Do I need to change any settings in MYOB to allow new items from WooCommerce?

Is there any specific plugin configuration needed for variable product syncing?

Why is MYOB not accepting these new variation SKUs even when creation is enabled?

I have also attached MYOB configuration, please review and let me know is there anything wrong in it.

Please advise what configuration I may be missing in either MYOB or the WordPress plugin.

  • Just following up on this as we're experiencing the same issue.

We are using MYOB AccountRight with WooCommerce, and our catalogue consists mainly of variable products (e.g. footwear).

From what we've been able to confirm so far, the native MYOB - WooCommerce integration appears to support simple products and order syncing, but does not fully support inventory syncing for variable products. Each variation does not seem to be treated as an individual inventory item within MYOB, which causes the stock to not sync and requires manual management.

Can MYOB please confirm whether variable product inventory syncing is currently supported or is a known limitation of the integration?

If it is a limitation, what is MYOB's recommended approach for businesses to fix this issue?

    Hi Aidangus

Sorry to hear the variable SKUs are playing up.

Because you’re using a WooCommerce → MYOB sync plugin, the best place to start is with the WooCommerce/plugin support team – they own how those products and SKUs sync into MYOB. If they run into anything on the MYOB side of the integration, their developer can then reach out through our developer help channels.
