can not adjust my products & services

Hello,

 

I am new to myob online and I had mmcconvert transfer over my data from QB.

 

when they imported my services from QB they do not have a selling price so I need to fix this.

 

when I select the service I get an Error message

 

"This is not a tracked inventory item and cannot be adjusted"

 

when I go to the adjust inventory page it's empty and there are no items there.

 

how do I fix this?'

    Good to hear your first question’s sorted. About the error "Items per selling unit" cannot be edited when an item has been used in a transaction, that usually pops up when the Items per buying/selling unit field was left blank during import.

     

    I’ve run a quick script on the file linked to your email, so that error should be gone now. If it still shows up, just give me a shout and we’ll get it sorted.

  • Hi Schuu,

     

    Welcome to MYOB business! Some things from QB don’t carry over during migration, so a few items might come through without complete details. No worries, I’m happy to help get your items set up. If you’re seeing “This is not a tracked inventory item and cannot be adjusted,” it probably means the “I track stock for this item” option isn’t turned on, so it won’t show up on the Adjust inventory page. For more info, you can check out this link on editing or updating an item.

      oh sorry I am a bit confused..

      I have no inventory so I have none to adjust I understand that now.

       

      when I click on an Item ID to edit a service/product that was imported from QB

      when I try to make any changes I get this error

      'Items per selling unit' cannot be edited when an item has been used in a transaction.

      even if all I do is edit the description or try to make it inactive or currently none of my services have prices and I can not update that either. I cant even delete them.

       

      I tried updating them via importing the text file and via the browser and this fixed the prices however it did not change some items from beings tax exclusive

       

      I am not sure how to fix these.
