Leave adjustment

I have an employee who left the business and is now returning. It looks like the leave for this person wasn't adjusted to zero when they left, so when I remove the end date, there is leave balance showing.

How do I make it zero?

Thanks

  • Hi AMC123,

Yes, any leave that wasn’t cleared at termination will hang around on their card and show up again once you remove the end date. The clean, audit-friendly way to zero it out is to run a $0 (void) pay and add a leave adjustment that brings their entitlements to zero. That keeps the history intact and makes the reports accurate.
