Adding old transactions

I’ve connected my bank account and working fine. But how do I add transactions from before as it only shows transactions after I connected the account. I can only add income and expenses, but none of the other categories are available.

    Connected Accounts only pull in transactions from the moment the connection is established, so historical transactions won’t show up in Solo.

    We know this is something users are keen on, and it’s already on our product team’s radar! They’re working on it, but I don’t have a timeline just yet.

    I don't understand how I would use Solo if I can't even manually enter previous transactions prior to when the connection is made. Or even how Solo would work without a connection.

    It feels like I'm missing some fundamental part of Solo where I can manually enter transactions that aren't just sales and expenses. 

    How do I create a quarterly BAS statement or an Annual Profit & Loss if my Solo account just starts in the middle of February?

    Sorry if I misunderstood! I thought you were referring to seeing historical transactions through Connected Accounts.

    Regarding how Solo works without a connection, is this referring to Connected Accounts? Solo is fully functional even without Connected Accounts, which is simply an optional feature that gives you a better overview of your transaction accounts through the app. You can still issue invoices, take payments, record expenses and generate reports even if you do not have connected accounts set up.

    So I can make sure I understand your needs, what type of transactions are you wanting to enter?

    When I allocate a transaction from my connected account, I get the full range of Categories that I a

    can allocate to. 
    However, when I try to do that manually, the list of categories are limited. Eg I can’t transfer an item in and out of a Liability or Asset category - I can only transfer in one direction. 
    I just need a way to manually enter a transaction that isn’t an invoice or an expense.
