I can't download PDF invoice

Hey everyone!

We've got some epic news MariaPurnomo​ Kat90​ SimonB252​ and DesignMatters​ 

The product team heard our Solmates loud and clear; the text and link option just wasn't cutting it for those that need easier PDF download and printing. So, in record time, they have worked out a solution which will bring back the same options you had previously, in addition to the text and link option.

If everything runs smoothly, this should be live in the app mid next week. We'll keep you posted in this thread, and also announce it here on the forum.

I have this same issue as of today and i am really hoping they have no removed the ability to download the PDF invoice. 

Hey MariaPurnomo​ and DesignMatters​ Did you know some phones have started blocking messages with PDFs attached?

Unfortunately heaps of our Solmates were getting caught out by this.To help everyone keep getting paid without the hassle, we’ve updated how invoices are shared through other apps. 

Instead of sending the PDF directly, Solo now sends a message with a link to the PDF. You can still send invoices by email straight from Solo which are sent as a PDF just give us a shout out if you wanted a hand with this 📢. 

If you ever need the PDF itself, you can send the link to yourself, open it online, and download it from there. If you have any more feedback we'd love to hear from you about how you have used this feature in the past! 

please put it back. the links dont even work right now. zero way to save as a PDF. completely unusable in its current state if you need a PDF

I am also disappointed with the removal of the feature to download as PDF and send in within my own email account. It used to be so easy, now it is such a long and glitchy process. I tried sending an invoice through Solo and copied myself into the email so I had a copy of the PDF, that was 5 hours ago and I’m still waiting for the email to be delivered! 2 out of 3 have delivered now so I know it’s working, just very slow. 

I used to love the ease of Solo, I am now very disappointed.

If your experiencing other issues with using Solo, like delays in emails being received, can I suggest reaching out to via the Digital Assistant which can be found under More > Chat with us in your Solo app. We'd love to help get you back up and functioning as quickly as possible!
