Invoice numbers

Hi Have done a couple of invoices starting my number at 203 but on doing next invoices reverts back to 1 

I thought it was supposed to count up accordingly ? 
How do I rectify ?

    Update on your invoice numbering issue

    I just wanted to circle back here. I think I may have talked to you elsewhere, but just in case, I'm updating you here too.

    What we've found

    Since you made this post, we've dug a little bit deeper as things didn't look quite right. In doing so, we've confirmed that you've rub into a brand new bug with invoice numbering. The team and I are hard at work looking into it, working out a fix, and once it's all tested we'll update your app. 

    Next steps

    We'll update you once we've sorted this out, but it might take a little while because we need to make sure everything works correctly and continues to keep your data safe and sound before we release it to you. 

    Temporary workaround

    In the meantime, here's a workaround you can use:

    1. Manually enter each invoice number when creating a new invoice
    2. Click Save
    3. Send the invoice

    I understand that's not ideal, and we'll work to sort this out as quickly as possible.

  • Hey Rosannemb​ we’ve seen a quirky little hiccup pop up when someone customises the invoice number on their very first invoice. Any chance that’s what’s happened here? Let us know and we’ll dive in (and bring in the big guns if we need to 💪).

  • Hey Rosannemb​ quick update for you. We’ve tracked down the bug that was messing with invoice numbers and our team’s on the tools fixing it now. If all goes well in testing, we’re hoping to have it squashed by tomorrow 🤞
