My Solo - Invoicing, can i add additional pdf's

It would honestly be so handy have solo make the invoice and being able to select additional pdf files to add into it.

like I mentioned before when I watched the advert, I seen it could be done. I assumed it was all via solo.

i didn’t realise invoice and pdf together was lite only

Felt a bit mislead when I bought solo and realised it couldn’t be done as implied via the video 

to clarify the suggested workaround works, it’s just not streamlined for easy of use or efficiency 

to add a lil more into my original message. So I requested pdf to be added to the invoice. But it would be great if you could press the invoice button and iOS or android opens up the add “picture” or “file” option

you could then select the pdf you want included via files

or take a picture or upload from album/photos and it includes it in the report

I looked into the clever little work around you mentioned to attach pdf's with an invoice, however, that more work and not very streamlined. I currently use MYOB Business Lite which enables me to attached pdf's and send the invoice together via MYOB which also comes across professional. 

I love the Solo app for ease of generating invoices away from the PC. Do you think that MYOB developers would consider making this feature of adding pdf attachments direct to the invoice in Solo available at some point?

I'd recommend putting an idea up on our Share Your Ideas | MYOB Community board, this'll allow other Solmates to comment and upvote your suggestion. Our developers and designers pay close attention to what's suggested amongst the community, so it'd be great to get it on their radar 💡

I agree with you Bobby88​. If Solo is meant to be all that its hyped up to be, it would need to incorporate the most useful functionality we require.

📎 Attaching PDFs in Solo:
While Solo doesn’t currently let you attach PDFs directly to an invoice like Lite does, there’s a clever little workaround! The share sheet is your best friend here. Just tap the share icon when previewing your invoice, then choose to send it via your own email app (instead of sending through the Solo app). This lets you attach extra PDFs (like your service report) before you hit send. Easy!

💸 Contactless Payments:

• Solo has Tap to Pay, which works beautifully as an app—but just a heads-up, Solo isn’t optimised for iPads at the moment.
• Lite, on the other hand, is a web-based platform, not an app—so it doesn’t support Tap to Pay like Solo does. It does have online payments (customers can pay your invoices with a card), but not in-person tap-and-go payments through your device.

So if in-person contactless payments are a must-have and you're keen to use an iPad, we might not be quite there yet with either product. But if you're using a phone and love the simplicity of in-app invoicing with Tap to Pay, Solo's your one-stop.
