Create Advisor Error Message

When I try to create advisor for my accountant I get an error message 'There is already a user with this email. Enter a different email.'

When I search users active and inactive my accountant is not listed. In fact I am the only user listed.

My accountant tells me that his email address is used by all his clients with MYOB to be their advisor.

I have created a support ticket but MYOB is slow to respond.

Anyone know how to fix this problem? TIA

When you're in the Users and permissions page, if you click on the 'Status' icon next to the search bar you'll see the following options:

From there you'll be able to click on the 3 dots to the right of the relevant email address and select 'Resend Invitation'.

    Hi CJL05,

Thanks for confirming that, and for trying those steps. Since you’ve already checked that you’re an administrator, tried different browsers, and cleared the cache, but the issue is still happening, the best next step is to get in touch with our live chat support through our virtual assistant, MOCA, or submit a case via My Account so we can take a closer look and double-check what’s going on from our side.

    Regards,

    Sai

    Hi AmandaMYOB
Yes, I'm an administrator, and the issue persists with all browsers that I've tried. I've cleared the cache from one browser and that didn't help unfortunately. This is the screenshot of what comes up - as you can see, it doesn't even list my name. I tried to "Create Advisor" to link my accountant, and it says that 'There is already a user with this email. Enter a different email" as described above.

    Hey CJL05

You will need to make sure you're logged in as a file administrator/owner in order to have access to edit the Users and permissions page. If you try loading it from a different web browser, does the issue persist? It may be worth clearing cache/cookies first.

I am also having this problem, but the solution suggested did not work for me. Whenever I go into Settings / Users and Permissions, it says that there was an issue loading the page, and to reload, but this does nothing. The only users listed are inactive. Any more suggestions?
