If the GST paid amounts are not appearing against the purchase amounts, there are a few potential reasons this might be happening.
Ensure that the correct GST codes were assigned to your purchases when they were entered into the system. If a transaction was recorded without the GST code, the GST paid would not show up in the report. Double-check the filters and settings you used when generating the report. Sometimes, specific filters or date ranges can accidentally exclude certain transactions.
If your purchases were entered into MYOB after the reporting period you selected, they wouldn't appear in the report for the June quarter. Make sure all relevant transactions are included within the date range of the report. Verify that the GST period for your purchases aligns with the reporting period. Sometimes, GST might be accounted for in a different period due to timing differences.
Lastly, check whether your GST reporting is set to cash or accrual basis. This can affect when GST is reported for both income and expenses.
If you've checked these areas and still don't see the GST paid amounts, it may be helpful to re-run the report after reviewing the transactions.
