Nice catch on what’s going on with your client’s Business Lite file. Those inactive categories with blank names are a bit of a pain when you’re just trying to keep MYOB talking properly to your workpaper package. In MYOB, every account needs a name to be created and that name can’t actually be removed. If you’re seeing categories with no name at all, they’re most likely ones that have come through as imported categories, which is why they won’t open to edit. As a workaround, the best option is to create a new account with the correct name, or import one that already has the right details and then map that to your workpapers instead.
