Inactive Employees
Good afternoon,
I was wondering if anyone could assist with a query relating to batch inactive employees. We are a seasonal business who puts through around 400-500 employees per year through MYOB. Our staff leave and come back a lot during the season so remain "active" until the end of the season where they will be changed to terminated and inactive.
What's the best way to change these employees to inactive in a bulk form rather than going and changing each one individaully?
Will I need to export the cards?
Any help would be really great!

You can use the Export function.
Export the Employee cards, you don't need to export everything, just a few basics like, name, address, card id and whatever else you want but make sure to include "card status".
When you open the export in Excel the column Card Status will show either a Y or a N.
The Y means that employee is Inactive, and the N is a active employee.
Change all those you want to change and save.
Then Import the saved file and "update" the Employee cards.
