There could be a few different reasons why the pre-filled amounts aren’t matching up when lodging manually versus online. One quick trick is to clear your browser cache—it’s surprising how often that clears up odd behaviour. Make sure to double-check your BAS online settings and go through all GST-related transactions for the reporting period to ensure everything’s consistent and accurate.

Unfortunately the browser cache isnt the issue. We checked this was consistent across other accountants bookkeepers within the team and they all had the same difference. We also refreshed the ledger data multiple times, checked the settings were consistent and also the transactions were consistent. This does appear to be an error with MYOB.
