Hi Wheeler1,
Yep, that can definitely be a bit annoying. If the transfer’s already been reconciled and everything's balancing, you can just hide it from the bank feed — no need to match or re-enter it. Please see this help page for more information: Hiding bank feed transactions

Hi Earl,
I'm not sure if my problem is the same as above or just similar. There was a glitch at MYOB a couple of years ago when we all received a notification about spontaneous duplication of bank feed entries. There was some advice offered then on how users could fix that. I really had no time then to look into that. Forward to now, I carried out a successful reconciliation I think it was as of 30 June 2023. However, when I close this year, things were out of balance because of some weird entries from long time ago. Anyway, what I can see right now without investigating thoroughly, is that there is a payment of $164.36 to Pedder's Suspensions duplicated on 29/03/2022 in the bank feed. What do I do with it? It can't be deleted from my side obviously. Cheers.

Hi Dingley
The bank feed and reconciliation windows are related but deal with separate processes. If you’ve got duplicate transactions showing up in the bank feed window, you can create a support ticket via MyAccount or jump onto live chat with our virtual assistant here to get those removed.
If the issue is related to previously reconciled transactions that have reappeared in the reconciliation window, it’s worth checking out the steps outlined in this community thread. If following those steps doesn’t fix the problem, don’t hesitate to get in touch with our team through MyAccount or live chat for more help.

Thanks Earl. Can you please confirm that if I just hide this in the bank feeds, it's not going to show up anywhere else in any reports and make them out of balance? If the report reconciles then I don't need to anything further after hiding it? Thanks.

Hi Wheeler1,
Yes, bank feed transactions don’t usually impact reports, but they can be a bit of an eyesore if not matched to transactions. If you'd like, you can also reach out to our team by creating a support ticket via MyAccount or using live chat with our virtual assistant here to request the removal of those transactions. Just a heads-up though, the removal process works by date ranges, so you won’t be able to pick specific transactions to remove.

Just jumping in here - I have a duplicate bank feed transaction for some reason - would hiding it cause me any issues down the line? Am I able to delete it?

Hi NikkiH,
No worries at all! Hiding that duplicate bank feed transaction won’t cause you any dramas down the track. It just means it won’t show up in your list of bank feeds anymore. When it comes to deleting bank feeds transactions, I’d suggest to give our team a buzz through our virtual assistant MOCA, or send a support request through MyAccount to discuss your options.
Cheers,
Shella

the info that link shows does not look like anything in my version and I cant find the option to hide it. More importantly why would this have happened? I want to make sure that this doesnt happen again where MYOB just duplicates transactions.
