Bank rec and bank feed chnaging

Reconciled and printed out Bank Reconciliation. Perfect

Just gone in today and there is an amount showing in Bank that was not and should not be there.

How is it creating new transactions. And no! no bank feed entries

Hint. For the period Bank rec and Bank were NIL

    Hi RYUSHIDOMAN,

It sounds odd if you had a perfect, nil bank rec and now something new is showing there with no bank feeds coming in. A good first step is to run a future-dated reconciliation, which often clears out stray transactions that pop back in unexpectedly. We’ve got a Community Forum post that will guide you how to do a future-dated reconciliation. After you’ve done that, the next step is to undo the reconciliation for the affected bank account. If the amount is still hanging around after those two steps, it’s best to reach out to our team so they can take a closer look and see what’s creating it. You can contact them on Live Chat via our virtual assistant, MOCA, or by submitting a support case via My Account.

    Cheers,

    Doreen

Logged a support request 10.04.26 . This week got a response . They asked for more info which I supplied. Advised someone from Bank Feed would ring. That was two days ago. Tax return due next week so not happy Jan.

    Hi RYUSHIDOMAN,

I checked your case and can confirm it has already been forwarded to our Bank Feeds team. At the moment, one of the team members will pick it up as soon as they become available and assist you as soon as possible. I understand this is time-sensitive with your tax return due next week, and I’m sorry for the wait. Thanks for your patience.

    Regards,

    Sai
