That'd drive anyone up the wall. Thanks for explaining what's happening, I can see why reconciling like that would take forever. For this one, the best next step is to reach out to our live chat support through our virtual assistant, MOCA, or submit a case via My Account. The team there can take a closer look at your file, check what's causing the screen to jump back to the top, and work through a proper fix with you.
