Error message when matching payment to bills

Did you end up finding out what the issue was? im having the same problem, so over spending hours each week with new MYOB issues!!

    We're sorry to hear that you're getting an error matching your payment to bills. We appreciate your patience with this matter. We do have an online script to run to fix the issue, may you please confirm the last four digits of your Serial Number and your Company File ID?

      This issue is pretty old now and I am now longer certain what it was! I think it was probably that when I matched a  payment that had multiple bills, it said it did not balance. If that was it, I worked around it by deleting the bills and then reentering them again, then rematching them to the payment - obviously time consuming, so a better fix would be good.

      I'm helping my brother with his EOFY bookwork and encountered the same issue.

      Can you help please?

      The last 4 digits of the SN are 2045 and Client ID *******

        Hi seqtt

         

        Thanks for proactively providing the helpful details. I get that you're assisting your brother with his EOFY bookwork, and you have encountered a similar issue. This error message occurs when the decimals move out past two places. For example, if an amount is $100.1234 instead of $100.12, the system may round incorrectly, triggering the error. To fix this, 

         

        1. Open Purchases.
        2. Create a supplier payment.
        3. Enter in the supplier's name from the bill.
        4. Enter the payment date.
        5. Tick off the invoices the payment is applied to.
        6. Save the supplier's payment.
        7. Open the bank transaction screen.
        8. Match the bank transaction to the 'Payments' for that transaction.
        9. Save.
