YTD verification report does not match Payroll reporting

Hi,

I am trying to close off 25/26 payroll however the Payroll Reporting Year to date verification report figures do not match.  The payroll reporting employee year to date end figure does not match Employee Summary of payments.  I have double checked all reports including YTD figures off individual employees final payslip and these figures match the employee year to date report through STP, however when I print off the verification report and individual payment summary the figures are short. Is this a known issue or how do I get correct figures to submit to ATO?

    I have fixed my problem, with the send update event button again.  I didn't realized I had locked the period so it wouldn't accept update..  I unlocked period, tried again and figures are now corrected. Happy all balances now!

    I know, its crazy.  I have two employee's showing correct figures then the other 6 are not and the figures are out by a large amount.  I have spent all day going through payslips and comparing to what has been accepted by STP reporting and its all there, so the final verification report is not picking up figures for some reason?  Not sure where to go next.  I know my payroll figures are correct and its showing correct figures on both sides just when I print out the final report the totals are short on each employee's payment summary.  I can't submit this to ATO as is not correct.....

    I have been working on this for a week as thought I would check it all before my last pay. I am beginning to think this may be a MYOB issue as it has never happened to me before and I've been doing this for over 20years.

    Frustrating to say the least.  My guys will be asking for their payment summaries soon but I can't submit until correct......

    Yep I'm feeling the pain as well and at the busiest time of the year. Hoping for a solution soon.

    Hi Heather

     I am having the same problem and cannot get through to MYOB for help.

    Because I have reversed pays so many times now trying to fix the problem it is a mess. All employees except one are correct.

    My verification report and summary reconciled and I should have stopped there. The payment register does not show any of her YTD earnings. Then I reversed her pay to try an fix it and reported to the ATO and now the verification report also done not show her earnings. I am tearing my hair out.

    I did have the response below however I have already been to these links and it does not help. Especially when I am the administrator but the contact My Account for support as it will not give me access as it says I don't have authority and to get help to gain authority it sends me back in the loop to contact support.

    Sorry for the late reply, and thanks for your patience. This can happen when the payslip is only showing YTD figures for the categories used in that particular pay run, which sounds similar to what you’re seeing with the base salary amount not appearing while PAYG, public holiday and super are still correct. It’s worth checking this Community post, as it covers the same kind of issue and may help: Payslip not showing all YTD figures

    have you been able to get onto MYOB for help. I am struggling to contact them. By the time I get through MOCA then just wait.
