Old transactions popping up can definitely throw off your current reconciliation. A common reason for this is when previously reconciled transactions have been edited. The good news is our team can help with the heavy lifting here.
Getting old bank transactions removed is something our team will need to help with directly. However, note that they’re only able to delete transactions within a specific date range, not individual ones. You can either give them a call or lodge a case through My Account.
It shouldn’t feel that way, Helen80. We totally understand that Smart Reconciliation is new and that you’d rather stick with the classic view. This is currently in Beta, and you can opt out of it. On the Bank transactions page, click the ellipsis (...) next to Smart Reconciliation, choose Back to classic view, then click Continue.
