Update, this is apparently due to Smart Matching, which I have turned off, I need to be able to manually allocate my transactions, but it would help if I could see the amount and the description,

Turning off smart matching makes sense if you’re keen on manually allocating transactions. To make things easier, you can still view the amounts and descriptions while allocating just check your settings or filters to ensure those details are displayed. Try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser altogether (sometimes browsers get a bit funny with things like this).
If that doesn't sort it out, it could need a bit more digging. It’s a good idea to submit a ticket through MyAccount with a screenshot of what you’re seeing this will help our team understand what's going on and get it sorted faster for you. Hoping this gets you back on track soon!
