MISSING TRANSACTION/PAYMENT

A payment has been applied to an invoice.  The payment shows up on the invoice in the "Applied to Date" box but we cannot find the transaction in the journals.  How do I locate a payment that isn't s...

Hi Accounts32, 

 

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Community Forum. 

 

I'm sorry to hear about your issue finding the payment created for your invoice. You can open the payment by clicking the History button next to the Applied to Date information. 

If there was only one payment recorded against this invoice, you will see two entries in the Find Transaction window popup. One for the invoice and one for the payment. You can click the blue arrow next to the payment to open the said payment.
