It’d be frustrating to keep running into the same bank transactions after you’ve already dealt with them. That’s definitely not how Banking Hub should be working for you.
You’re right, reconciled transactions can show up again as unreconciled if they’ve been edited or changed along the way. Banking Hub uses AI smart matching to try and link bank feed transactions with existing records in your file, or suggest matches to help save time on data entry. The idea is to give you more control and visibility over your banking. You’re not locked into them. You can unmatch, reallocate, or adjust those transactions as needed depending on what’s actually right for your file. If you’re looking to have bank transactions deleted for a specific date range, that’s something our team can help with from the back end.

Thanks Princess, however the AI in this sense is currently creating more headaches and time waste. I seriously think MYOB will have to improve this Business Pro Banking Hub and Reconciliation functionality very quickly to avoid continuous duplications of any edited transactions - especially when I already have all the AI and auto matching buttons turned off. I'm not impressed if I have to request MYOB Support to delete duplications every month - even more of a headache. I would like to think that in time the AI functionality will get better but it's certainly not there yet in this instance. If that is my only option to contact Support each month for fixes, I obviously have to move to another software company. Extremely disappointing - I've used MYOB for over 30 years.
