RECONCILE ACCOUNTS BANKING

In Reconcile Accounts I would like to know if there is a way to stop MYOB automatically dating the Reconcilation the date you are actually logged in and doing it, automatically ticking every transaction as reconciled, and listing the transactions with the latest date at the top?

 

We are using bank feed to create all of our transactions so there is no automatic matching.  Does the Bank Feed process effect how MYOB is automatically completing our reconcilation?

 

With whatever updates have happened recently, when I am selecting transactions to reconcile and get to the bottom of the screen, I have to scroll down to select more transactions and every time I select one the list keeps rolling back to the top? It happens for every transaction. The listing is now its own page within my screen - very frustrating.

I am accessing MYOB on a desktop.

    OMG. this scrolling to reconcile every transaction is awful. I am over MYOB , sorry after 20 years I am now going to get Xero. 

    I cant do manual superannuation.

    My program reverts to accrual not cash every time it is closed.

    I cant see my emails through outlook anymore.

    Appreciate you chiming in and confirming you’re seeing the same bank feed jumping behaviour. That isn’t how the screen should behave. It's best to contact our team so they can what's going on in your file and sort out why it's happening.     I'm having the same problem with the screen jumping back to the top every time I tick a box. I log into two different customer accounts and am having the same problem with both. Different email addresses, different passwords, same problem.

    Hi Movementmyo

     

    It’d definitely be handy if the Reconcile Accounts screen could auto‑pick the date based on the latest transaction. At the moment, though, there’s no way to change that behaviour; you still need to manually set the statement date each time.

     

    You’re right about bank feeds, too: when you create or match transactions from the Bank Feeds/Bank Transactions screen, those transactions will usually come into Reconcile Accounts already ticked, because they’ve been treated as “cleared” by that process.

     

    The screen jumping back to the top every time you tick a box isn’t expected behaviour. Because we’re not seeing that as a known issue right now, the best next step is to get support to check your specific file and setup. You can reach the team by:

    • Logging a case from My Account, or
    • Starting a live chat with MOCA, our virtual assistant, on the MYOB Support page.
