Trouble allocating transactions in bank feeds

We have two unallocated transactions and everytime we try to allocate them to the relevant account, the system comes up with an error saying "something went wrong, please try again later or refresh your browser".  Anyone else with this issue?

    Hi rebeccalk,

That error message can be a bit of a head-scratcher. Let's try a few things to get those unallocated transactions sorted:

First up, give your browser a bit of a spring clean. Clear the cache and cookies, and maybe even try a different browser just to see if that helps. Also you can try these:

    1. Check if the transaction is reconciled and has payment associated to it and first undo reconciliation and delete the payment - Now try to delete the transaction.

    2. Open the transaction from “Find Transaction” tab and try to delete it.

    3. Open the transaction from “General Ledger” report and try to delete it.

    4. Check if the invoice has a surcharge transaction line, indicating an Online Invoice Payment surcharge . If it does use Find Transactions to find the related surcharge and delete this first. You will then be able to delete the original transaction.

Still no luck after all that? Best to have a yarn with our live chat support through our virtual assistant, MOCA, or submit a case via MyAccount so they can run the necessary scripts behind the scenes.

    Regards,

    Sai
