Unwanted Bank Feed Transactions

We use AccountRight and with the old "Desktop" version if there was a transaction in the Bank feed you didn't want because it had been duplicated for whatever reason, you could right click and "hide" the transaction from the Bank Feed.

 

With the cloud version there is no such option. Sometimes with complex transactions there is a need to treat transactions manually which leaves the Bank Feed entry effectively stuck. Is there a way to remove one off entries? Or is there a process to request this? 

 

We recently transitioned into a New legal entity so we had a number of fiddly transactions that are treated correctly but we need to remove the ones stuck in Bank Feed.

 

Deleting the whole Bank feed for the day is not the solution given the volume of transactions, I just need a one entry solution please.

    Hi Rochelle27,

     

    Congrats on making the jump to the new entity, that’s a big step! Sometimes old transactions show up during a change like this, usually because the bank feed re-syncs or the bank sends through some historical data.

     

    I agree, deleting a whole day’s worth of bank feed isn’t realistic when there are heaps of transactions. The good thing is, our team can help with this. There isn’t a “hide transaction” option in the cloud/browser version, but they can process a bulk deletion of bank transactions for you. To get that started, you can either give the team a call or lodge a support request through My Account.

    Thanks for hanging in there with us. We usually see cases picked up within about 3–5 business days, but this one’s just ticked over to day 6, so I’ve given the team a nudge to bump it up the queue and get a reply back to you as soon as possible.
