Office 365 security changes & impact on MYOB emails

As part of the ongoing security uplift for our Office 365 tenant, we are planning to update the DMARC DNS record to enforce quarantine mode: v=DMARC1; p=quarantine;

 

Before proceeding, we would like to ensure this change does not impact email delivery from MYOB, e.g. emailing of quotes, sales invoices and remittances.

 

Are there any additional steps recommended to help mitigate any potential disruptions? Has anyone else made this change?

    Hi LynZ,

     

    Office 365 hardening can mess with MYOB emails. Best bet is to send via the MYOB Email Service, ask your IT to whitelist apps.myob.com senders (accountright@apps.myob.com, invoices@apps.myob.com), and keep an eye on Microsoft quarantine. We’ve also tightened security (like session timeouts) to help keep your data safe.
