Allowance built into net pay

Hello! 

 

I am trying to pay our part-time workers a monthly phone allowance. 

It seems to work by calculating it into the weekly payment and it also appears on the payslip, but is not included within their net pay?

 

I would like the payslip to reflect their entire pay, not just salary. 

 

Please see screen shot for how I've allocated it in the pay under 'pay items'

It's important to ensure that the phone allowance is correctly set up as an allowance and not as a deduction or other type of pay item. To make certain that the pay slip accurately represents the total pay, which includes the phone allowance, I would suggest a thorough review of how the phone allowance is set up within your wages pay item. Make the necessary changes and create a dummy pay run to ensure that the phone allowance is included in the employee's net pay.
