Annual Leave, Annual Leave Loading & Personal Leave incorrect rate

Hi,

I processed our pay with an employee availed her annual leave and I noticed that instead of the same pay rate of $29.00 per hour for her Annual Leave Pay rate is $223.08 per hour which looks like an increment of something I can't figure out. Annual Leave hours used 7.6 x $223.08 = $1695.41 which is not correct. I can't figure out why the rate is $223.08 where it should be the same as the basic $29.00 per hour.

I checked all the employees, and all the leave has a rate amount is more than their hourly basic pay.

We are using the new version MYOB Business Pro.

This is how I entered the details which is according to MYOB payroll set-up:

We are paid by the hour:

Payroll - Pay Items - Annual Leave percentage is 7.6923

Payroll - Pay Items - Annual Leave Loading percentage is 0.175

Payroll - Pay Items - Personal Leave percentage is 3.84615

Looking forward for any help.

Thank you.

Kind regards,

Shepai

    Hey Shepai-8-2017,

To resolve the issue with the annual leave pay rate, check the setup of the annual leave pay item. Ensure that you select "Regular rate multiplied by" as your pay rate and set the calculation to 1.0000. This should correct the pay rate to match the employee's regular hourly rate of $29.00. You can refer to the screenshot below.

    Best regards,

    Doreen
