ATO Superguarantee assigning

Question

I have been paying Superannuation at 12% since the Super Guarantee started, howeve4r the MYOB System will not allow me to assign/ alter the assignment of the ATO CATEGORY?! This will be a problem when the ATO close their Super Clearing house in July, as this inability to change the feature means it will noit ncorrectly report of transfer Superannuation to the employees accounts.

How do I fix this? Can someone point me to the best process/pages to enter/edit information, please?

Love that you’ve been on top of super at 12% from the very start. What you’re seeing with not being able to assign an ATO Category to super is something we mostly see in MYOB Business files that were migrated from AccountRight. It’s not you doing anything wrong. The good news is this is something our team can fix by running a script on your file to sort out the ATO Category issue for your super setup, so it reports and transfers correctly.
