Bank Transactions

Why do the pay run and super payment stay unmatched until I run the next weeks payroll. Then they are matched and current week stays unmatched until next week.

Been like this since I downgraded to Business Lite 1st July 2026.

Can anyone explain this please.

    Hi hkjohn,

I understand that since moving to Business Lite on 1 July, each weekly pay run and its related super payment stays unmatched until the following week’s payroll is processed. If you’re using Pay Super, this is usually caused by a timing difference. The Pay Super transaction is recorded in MYOB when the payment is authorised, while the actual debit may appear in your bank feed later, once the payment has settled. With weekly payroll, this can make the previous week’s payment appear to match around the time the next pay run is processed. This doesn’t necessarily mean there’s an issue with the pay run or the super calculation. Once the Pay Super batch shows as completed, match the bank-feed debit to the existing Pay Super transaction by checking the amount and widening the date range if needed. Avoid allocating the bank debit as a separate Spend Money transaction, as this can leave the original super payment showing as unpaid. You can find more information here: Make superannuation payments.

If the bank debit has already appeared and the Pay Super batch is completed but it still won’t match, reach out to our live chat support through our virtual assistant, MOCA, or submit a case via My Account so we can look into it further.

    Regards,

    Sai
