Totally get the where you're coming from, payslip rates not lining up is a headache. Good news, it’s almost always setup related (your pay items and Standard Pay), not a glitch.
Few common fixes:
- Set affected items to Regular rate multiplied by 1.0000 (not Fixed hourly rate) so they follow the base rate.
- If Automatically adjust base hourly or base salary details is ticked on leave/other items, try unticking it.
- Clean up any stray/fractional hours in the employee’s Standard Pay.
- For salaried staff, the payslip “hourly rate” comes from annual salary, so it can differ unless the item follows the base.
- If you haven’t lodged yet, reprocess after fixing; otherwise, update setup and do a small adjustment next run.
