Car Allowance

Hi DavidCM. 

That car allowance certainly throws off your leave accrual if not set right. Luckily you can do a few tweaks to avoid it from accruing leave. You can Go to Payroll > Pay items > Leave, open Annual leave, open Exemptions, add the Car Allowance pay item, then Save. This should fix the incorrect calculations.

However I cannot see Exemptions in the Leave items, Annual Leave or Annual Leave Accrual - (Like I did in Superannuation)

Still waiting for a solution so can’t mark it as completed

To stop annual leave accruing for a car allowance payment in MYOB AccountRight, you'll need to click into the pay item and select the 'Exempt' button on the top right. Screenshot below for your reference:

Appreciate the update. The instructions for the browser version can be found in the same link I shared earlier, just select the 'Browser' option at the top of the page. 

To add an exemption in the browser, you'll want to click into the pay item itself and you'll have the option to add the relevant leave exemptions. I've attached a screenshot below for your reference. Here is the link to the step by step instructions as well!
