Changing a Casual Employee to a Permanent one

One of our employees was a casual but is now permanent. Although I changed him in the Employee status from casual to permanent, on his latest pay slip it is paying him 8% on top of his normal hourly rate. How do I stop that automatically coming up?

    Hi lbrockliss,

You can check the standard pay of the affected employee to see if an extra amount has been entered on their hourly rate, which might be triggering the 8% on top of the normal hourly rate. This can be done by reviewing the Pay Details section in the employee's record, specifically under the Standard Pay tab. You can remove or correct amounts on the hourly rate field to make it's correct.

    Best regards,
