Employee changing from casual to permanent part-time

    Hi Bernedeen8moore,

     

    You don’t have to create a whole new card, just update their current one to part-time, pop the change date into their employment details, and jot a note about when they started as casual. You can check this handy article about changing an employee status for the steps. That way, you keep all their history tidy. If you get stuck. give our team a buzz via our virtual assistant MOCA or by submitting a support ticket through MyAccount to help you sort it out.

Thank you Shella.

 

The MYOB step by step do not specify to change the start date, but I have changed it as you suggested (and made a note of actual start date as casual) as I believe it would mess up the annual leave and sick leave calculations if I left the original start date.
