The employee income statement status should change to Tax ready when the finalisation has been completed and the ATO notified. If it hasn't changed you can try un-doing the finalisation then refinalising to push that information through to the ATO again.

I have an ex employee stating their income return is NOT tax ready. So far this is the only one - how can i fix this for them - all other files have been declared as Tax Ready

We have the same situation, 70+ employees with only one with the status of 'not tax ready' with the ATO and the rest declared 'tax ready'.

Hi everyone,
I suggest undoing the finalisation then run a zero pay for the employee which isnt showing Tax Ready. I mean actually process a pay for that person - with zero hours, zero dollars, zero tax, etc. Make sure their termination date has been removed, and the employee hasnt been flagged as Inactive. Report the payrun in STP. Then do EOFY finalisation. I hope this works. I certainly hope you dont need to run an actual pay for every one of your employees!
