STP Status showing as Not Sent - how to fix?

I have just realised that some pay runs are showing as STP reporting not sent. When I click on the individual pay run it says STP Status "unknown". I can't see any way to investigate what happened or see how it can be fixed. I THOUGHT I sent them so I am unsure if the error message is incorrect or if maybe I did something wrong and they weren't actually sent. Any suggestions about investigating this further and potentially fixing it? Thank you

    Hi TheFeralawyer,

     

    Thanks for the screenshot, and sorry for the late reply. From what you’ve shared, the pay run showing as Not Sent is dated in 2025. If STP was only set up after that pay run was processed, then it’s normal for it to show that status. There’s nothing to worry about, as those figures should still be included in your YTD verification report. What I’d suggest is checking these three payroll reports and making sure they all match:

    • Payroll Register
    • Payroll Activity
    • YTD Verification Report

    If they all line up, then you can leave that status as is and not worry about it.
