Super foe innactive employees

I have recorded the super payments for the first time. Once I record the payments for the specific period after verifing the details, I proceeded by clicking on the "next" button. However, I have noticed that the names of inactive employees are now missing from the payment list. But the payments are still there without the emplyee names. Additionally, when I click on a  specific payment, it does not redirect me to the relevant payment as expected.

pls help me figure it out

I'm sorry to hear about your difficulties processing the superannuation. Generally, we process superannuation payments while the employee active, as you can't process a pay run for that employee if it's already inactive. If you haven't processed the superannuation for that employee yet, you can try re-activating that employee and try to authorize the payment.

    Hi Genreve/MYOB

I've just come across this same problem. Looking back through the super payments for each quarter, all the names are missing for the inactive employees whilst the payment amounts along with the superfunds are all still itemised (for said inactive employees). When I run the "Accrual By Fund Report" all of the details are here including the names for inactive employees, their super fund, member number and amount of payment. We have never received any error messages or returned funds. Can I assume that these payments have still gone through to the relevant super funds/members?

    Hi Sally729

Totally get how that’d be a bit confusing when all the names are missing for the inactive employees. Best not to assume the payments went through, though the Accrual by Fund report shows what was accrued in payroll, not proof that the money actually hit each fund/member.

    Quick checks to be sure:

    • Head to Payroll > Super payments and look at each quarterly batch.
    • If a batch shows 'Completed' and there are no returned payments, you’re good, they’ve gone through the clearinghouse.
    • Not seeing any Pay Super red‑cross errors is a good sign, but still check the batch status to be 100%.

    Thanks,
