Great question! Love that you’re thinking ahead. Adding each employee’s super fund doesn’t trigger any payments by itself, nothing gets paid until you actually create and submit a batch. So, adding the details now won’t cause an auto payment this week. You’re fine to do your usual December quarterly payment, then switch to weekly super batches from January if that suits you. Payday super is likely to become mandatory, so moving over early can help you get comfy with the process.
