Balance Sheet out of balance case # 03257179

This case has been going back and forth for two months and is not resolved. The balance sheet account for Retained Earnings is out of balance as at 01/07/2023 by $9,090.90. I keep being asked to do things which I do and nothing fixes it. It needs fixing by MYOB but I can't seem to get this done - just keep getting another email asking repeated questions that I continue to answer. It is maddening and I have asked for it to be escalated several times without success. It is out of balance. MYOB please fix it because my client and I are not programmers.

I’m sorry this is still unresolved after all the back-and-forth, especially when you’ve already provided the information requested.

I’ve checked case 03257179, and it remains open and in progress, with the team reviewing the Retained Earnings issue. They’ll get in touch by email when they have an update or need anything further from you. Thanks for bearing with us while this is being looked into.

Sorry this has been going round in circles for two months. You shouldn’t have to keep repeating yourself. We’ve already followed up your support case with the team handling the Retained Earnings issue and given it a proper nudge from our end. Please keep an eye on your email for their next update.

After three months of going around in circles and answering the same questions over and over again, the client's balance sheet that was out of balance due to a MYOB corruption is now fixed and balances. This has been an incredibly frustrating and time consuming process and it shouldn't have been the case. An out of balance Balance Sheet cannot be a user problem because one sided entries will always be a corruption issue, not a user issue.
