This is the response I got yesterday (they are responding under Reports).
I advised them that it wasn't acceptable and that many other Users were having the same issue and to look under this Subject heading. I also informed them that some were looking at changing to other products

This unfortunately is not the first time that this has happened with this functionality. When this occurred not long after the release of Business it took over a month to fix. It puzzles me how functionality that did work suddenly does not. Is it the result of Bad Coding / Testing or unintended consequences of some other new or modified code not related to this functionality (it does happen).
My firm subscribes to around 300 ARL and Business files and have approximately 40 clients that we use Budgets for and report monthly, budget v actual. We have spent the last week manually recreating the Budget v Actual reports in Excel based on the screen reports. The lost time is significant and unlikely to be paid for be the client.
One thing that would be helpful is more regular updates to these issues but all I see is responses to very irate users.
Another issue, Macquarie bank feeds, down again but the issue is not even listed of the issues page and very few updates are forthcoming. It is coming up to a month without feeds and then, when we get them we have to somehow deal with the double up of entries as we needed to enter them manually, we cannot wait around for them. At least ARL has the hide transaction feature in bank feeds but business does not, this needs attention as well.
Not wanting to say to much but I am not convinced that the current group of Moderators of the Community Forum are not AI Bots, why else would MYOB remove ALL the Forum Moderators last March but to replace them with AI.

Earl_HD & all the Users with this issue. This was first reported by me & others in early January 2024. We keep getting promised that it is being actioned but nothing has changed. Please provide a response as to where this is at and when is it getting fixed.

Do we have any update on this Myob? It is month end again and I am unable to P&L v budget. It would be so helpful if Myob could also develop a report to enable printing of Month v Budget and YTD v Budget all in one report without having to manually export and manipulate in Excel.
Meanwhile we have all just received a price increase!

Again. Address your issues directly with MYOB. I am trying to assist & keep Users up to date with what MYOB have advised me. I am a User also suffering because of the issue.

Hi John. I actually pressed 'reply' to the "MYOB moderator" comments; I'm sorry it has linked as if I was responding to you. I can tell you are a fellow user and I thank you for sharing what you have experienced and what responses you have had from MYOB. I'm am sincerely sorry if I have caused you offence.
Besides sitting on the phone for 2+hrs, MYOB has provided no way of me reporting the issue- the MYOB support pages directed me to this forum. The forum seems to have MYOB spokes-persons attending to the traffic. So, in the absence of any feedback mechanism besides the phone (which doesn't seem to match business hours in my state) the seems like the only avenue I have to advise of issues.

Xero pricing is 50% off for the next five months. Their discount ends at end of Feb2024. So I figure you have 10 business days to correct the issue.
P&L vs Budget is an essential (and very basic) tool. MYOB has known about this issue for at least a month. Get on with it.
