I mainly use the desktop version of account right - and now I remember why! Both the payables and receivables reconciliation reports at 30 September 2026 reconcile on the desktop version however neither do in the web version.
Looking a the payables I can see there are several bills showing as outstanding but when I drill into them they have been paid. What can cause this and why does the browser version seem so unreliable?

A paid bill still showing as outstanding is a bit of a head scratcher. Let’s unpack why the reports differ. The browser Unpaid Bills and Invoices report and the desktop Payables and Receivables Reconciliation report use different logic. The browser report looks at transactions that are currently open, regardless of the report date. The desktop reconciliation report calculates what was outstanding on the date selected. Because of this known reporting issue, a paid bill can still appear as outstanding in the browser report. It hasn’t reopened and doesn’t need to be paid again.
