Would be great if the developers would consider increasing the current limit of 255 alphanumeric characters in future updates, engineering clients like to use this area to advise customers on quoted work scopes and the work around of spreading text between the invoice body, notes and body of the email is very cumbersome.

Thanks so much for taking the time to share how the notes character limit is affecting you. This has actually already been suggested on our Ideas Exchange here, and it’s currently sitting in Open status: Cards: Increase character limit in the notes field
I’d really encourage you (and anyone else following this thread) to add a vote and comment on that idea so our product team can clearly see how important this is in real-world workflows.
