Thanks for updating us.
We're sorry to hear that your concern is still not resolved. With this, we highly recommend removing the attached document from the bill by going to Purchases > Bills, selecting the bill to open it > Go to attachments, and then click the "x" mark to remove the document. Once done, go to In Tray > Click the ellipsis button for the document you want to link and choose Link to existing bill. If the bills are not showing up, tick the box "Show paid bills and returns" and then untick it. This way, all the open bills will now show up.

Hi Doreen, this is not the way I assumed the feature is supposed to work. Why would I want to delete a document thats attached to a bill that I want attached to a bill then put it to the in tray and attach it again.
Please have your IT people look at this feature properly.

Please try linking the bill to an existing bill. If there are no bills showing up, change the filter to All Suppliers and then tick the box Show paid bills and returns, then untick it again. This should allow you to view all the bills. Please let us know how it goes.

I am having the same issue. I cannot link to an exisitng bill via the In Tray. I've done as you suggested by keeping the filter as All Suppliers and ticking then unticking the Show Paid Bills box and it still doesn't work.
Any suggestions?

Thanks for your post, and welcome to the Community Forum. This issue occurs when you try to link the document to the bill using the link (intray) document to the existing bill and receive one of the following messages:
- 'Network Request Failed'
or
- Success! You've successfully linked the document to the bill.
Whichever message shows, the document doesn’t appear to be linked to the bill. To fix this, I recommend deleting the bill and then creating a new bill using the InTray document by clicking the ellipsis (3 dots) button at the end of the document line and choosing Create Bill. This will allow you to link in tray documents to existing bills.
