Hi, can someone please tell me why when converting an order to an invoice the invoice number doesn't automatically update to the latest in the sequence??? If you accidently forget to update the invo...

Hi Girvan, 

Thanks for the detailed information. If you don't want to keep the same invoice number when converting a quote or order to an invoice you might need to uncheck your Setup > Preferences > Sales> Retain Original Invoice Number when Quotes Change to Orders or Invoices.
